Building a Solid Foundation of Biblical Truth

Transform your life with the glory of God at Christ Presbyterian Church, located in Richmond, IN. We have a variety of ministries for active members to involve themselves in, establishing a greater sense of community within the Church and outside its walls. From Sunday School to junior and adult ministries, all members of the family enjoy Christ Presbyterian Church.

Children’s Ministry

Sunday School

Every Sunday, bring the younger members of your family, from preschool to high school, for Sunday School! They’ll participate in entertaining activities and lessons that incorporate the teachings of the Bible. Our Sunday School provides a comprehensive biblical education under The Gospel Project curriculum.

Preschool Junior Church

Preschool children will be dismissed prior to the sermon for their own age-appropriate worship time.

Nursery available during Worship and Sunday School for infants (6 weeks) to children age 3

CPC Youth Fellowship is for junior and senior high students to meet regularly on Sunday evenings at the church and partake in exciting events! Annual highlights include retreats in the fall and winter and summer camp. Please contact Jeff Schrage or the church office for more information.

Adult Ministry

Children aren’t the only ones who get to have the fun! Christ Presbyterian Church offers adult ministries for men, women, and both.
In order for people to be assimilated into the church and live a healthy life of a Christian, they need a place to give (ministry), and a place to receive (small groups). We believe excellent ministry occurs in small-group settings, where genuine concern and opportunities for sharing, discussion, prayer, and discipleship are shared. Such moments happen in…

LIFE Groups

L – Learning: Studies from a biblical perspective keep the focus of the group on true biblical fellowship.

I – Intercession is a very important element in our LIFE groups. The members and friends of our church pray for one another as well as the church, its ministries, and our community.

F – Fellowship is necessary for unity, vision, and sense of community to be sustained in our church. People need a sense of community, and LIFE groups are a way for people to establish and build strong relationships.

E – Extension is the group reaching out to people in the church who are not involved, or people outside the church in need of the kind of ministry these groups provide. To remain healthy, the groups need to be outward-looking.

Men's Ministry
Men’s Breakfast

Meets at 8:00 AM at the church on the second Saturday of each month. Please see our events page for more details.

Women's Ministry
It’s important to give us the opportunity to address how God has designed women, their roles, and how they relate to one another in the home and church. At Christ Presbyterian Church, we are committed to nurturing women and equipping them for growth and service through Bible studies, seminars, retreats, fellowships, spiritual mothering, grandmother and single women events.

Inspire is a monthly gathering of women from our church and beyond who share a focus of practical talents as well as individual stories. The time in Inspire is spent for fellowship and prayer in small groups. Visit our events page for upcoming Inspire gatherings!

Women’s Bible Study

Studies for women are designed to provide learning in a small-group setting, along with the opportunity to invite friends from outside of the church.

There are several Bible Study and Book Study opportunities for the ladies of our church. Check out our calendar on our events page for dates and times available.

At Christ Presbyterian Church, we are proud of our global outreach initiative that helps cultures across the globe discover all the love God has to offer. Read about some of our families, their locations, and all they’ve accomplished!

Richey & Keli Goodrich

Richey & Keli Goodrich grew up an hour outside of Dallas, Texas. They both felt a calling to spread the saving glory of Jesus in missions from the time they were around 19 years old. Keli wanted to do this as a nurse. Richey wanted to do this as a pastor, church planter, and theological educator.

In 1999, they married with the goal of answering Christ’s call together. Keli eventually became a women’s health nurse practitioner and Richey an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America. In 2010, they moved to South Asia to train indigenous pastors for the church in a global city. After their visas were denied, they were called to Sydney, Australia, to help the Asian community study and work in the city.

They are excited by the team’s vision to raise Christian leaders throughout Asia. Richey will serve as one of the pastors at Harbour City Church and aids in the university ministry to international students. Richey and Keli are joined by their four children: Hadassah, Josiah, Hannah, and Jedidiah.

Eric & Karen Brauer

Eric & Karen Brauer are workers with Serge. Eric is an Area Director, supervising Serge teams in Dublin-Ireland, Prague-Czech, and Cluj-Romania. In addition to supervising team-leading couples, Eric is a mentor/coach of national church planters/leaders.

For 15 years, Eric led the Serge facilitative church planting team in Ireland – equipping, training and coaching Irish church planters. In February 2017, Eric and Karen moved to Vienna, Austria with the hope of coaching and mentoring national church planters and leaders throughout the region.

Currently, Eric and Karen are working with church-leading couples in Austria, Czech Republic, and Germany. After two years of teaching high school art at Black Forest Academy (BFA) in Kandern, Germany, Karen has re-engaged her creative gifts, teaching, and relational skills to help children overcome their emotional issues as an ‘Art-as-Therapy’ ministry in Vienna.

Eric and Karen have seven adult children and two grandchildren, living in four countries on three continents: Talitha, Karis (married to Stephen), Corban (married to Amy) and Laurel (married to Jonathan), Joanna, Elyssa, and Emily. The younger two are in college in the States.

Jay & Holly Eastman

After both becoming Christians, Jay and Holly met at Ohio State University. Jay and Holly joined MTW’s church-planting work in East Germany in 2001. Their mission is to build a bridge between those who have never heard about Christ to the church. They focus on evangelism and reaching out into the community.

They have supported the work of two MTW church plants now under national leadership. Since 2005, Jay has been the team leader for MTW’s venture in southeastern Berlin.

Jon and Sarah Pfeil

Jon and Sarah Pfeil have served as missionaries with Mission to the World (MTW) in Japan since 2006. Japan is a country well known for its technology and economic influence, yet few people realize that the Japanese are the world’s second largest unreached population (

The Pfeils are currently partnering with Japanese pastor Seima Aoyagi to start Grace Harbor Church Tokyo in the Tokyo waterfront area. This area includes 146,000 people with only one other small church. Please pray for the establishment and growth of Grace Harbor Church Tokyo and pray for wisdom and resources for subsequent church-planting sites as the team seeks to reach this Tokyo waterfront area with the life-transforming power of the gospel.
